SPIRIT OF LENNON
Many of us of a certain age have fond memories of the Beatles era and the subsequent output from the hugely talented John Lennon.
Now a new exhibition in Liverpool has opened covering the family life of John’s son Julian and his mother Cynthia Lennon. Over the last ten years Julian has been collecting memorabilia connected with his father and he says his motivation was to celebrate his relationship with his father and to share his family’s history with future generations of Lennon and Beatles fans. Spirit of Lennon, the Beatles Story exhibition has opened at Pier Head, Liverpool.

FINANCIAL HELP ALL IN ONE PLACE
A new charity has been set up to help people who are experiencing financial problems.
www.turn2us.org.uk is a comprehensive site aimed to help people find appropriate sources of financial support. The site has been founded and is funded by Elizabeth Finn Care and provides a free, confidential online service designed to help people quickly and easily find the benefits, tax credits or charity grants available to them. There is also a “find an adviser” tool to help locate someone to speak to face-to-face.
Jolanta Lasota, the Chief Executive of Turn2us, says around £14 billion of state aid goes unclaimed every year. She says asking for help is not easy, but embarrassment shouldn’t prevent so many people getting money they desperately need. The new site will help people access the money available.

NEW HELP FOR MUSCULAR ACHES AND PAINS
We have received a press release on Radian-B, a product that promises effective relief of every day muscular aches and pains. It says that keeping active and regular exercise helps us keep fit and healthy, but sometimes our bodies need a little help, support and TLC and that is where Radian-B can help.
Radian-B offers a complete range of topical analgesic treatments to relieve everyday muscular aches and pains. It is applied directly to the skin so it is absorbed at the source of the pain, providing express relief and avoiding the side effects sometimes associated with taking tables. There are a number of different products in the range, such as Radian-B ibuprofen gel and Radian-B Intensive Action Pain Relief Spray.
The Radian-B range is now available from most leading pharmacies or visit www.radian-b.com

RURAL TV
Now so many of us are having to change to digital tv, there is increasing interest in the growing number of small and subject dedicated television channels available.
We have just received information from Rural TV which was launched in the UK this March. It is the first 24-hour channel dedicated to farming, equestrian, rural lifestyle and traditional country matters. It says it aims to bridge the gaps between rural issues and rural entertainment. It covers the popular county and agricultural shows – recently it says it helped attach a near record attendance to the Royal Bath and West Show.
Rural TV is located on SKY channel 279 and Freesat 403 and you can also find video streaming on www.ruraltv.tv
