MY SELECTION - OFFERS AND DEALS FOR LATERLIFE READERS

Sally Smith

We are contacted by lots of people who want us to talk about their products and brands.

Among all of this we sometimes receive some interesting information and some good offers. So from now on, each month we will include a small section highlighting the best, or a few of the best.

Hope this new section will be of interest – as always let us have any comments to: sally@laterlife.com

MY SELECTION – FEBRUARY

1) A free fitness session with the military.

2) Free entry into the Best of Britain and Ireland show for people living in London.

1) GET FIT WITH THE BRITISH MILITARY

press upsResearch from British Military Fitness (BMF), the UK’s largest outdoor fitness provider and Fitbug, the Bupa-backed health and well-being coach, shows that people can burn a whopping 640 calories in a single 60-minute session. That’s more than an hour of running cross-country, hiking, biking or swimming.

BMF is especially good for people who spend most of their day sitting down. Classes last for

60 minutes and include running, circuit activities such as press ups, sit ups, burpees and team challenges. They are divided into ability groups so don’t worry if you can’t even do a press up yet! The ex-army instructors motivate participants throughout the class and with each session costing on average £5 to £7 per session, an individual can burn up to a third of their daily calorie intake within one hour.

If you would like to try out a FREE session, visit www.britmilfit.com.  Find out how to measure just how hard you’re working with www.fitbug.com
