How to stay safe in the sun...May 2008
It’s worth noting that two of the most common mistakes when using sunscreen are choosing to use an SPF below 15 and missing spots when applying, using too little and waiting too long to re-apply. According to the Skin Cancer Foundation we need to smooth on 30 ml per adult application to obtain full coverage. Sunlight makes you feel good of course and promotes vitamin D, which is important for bone health, but it needs to be treated with respect and the use of broad-spectrum sunscreens (which block both UVB & UVA light) is the recommended protection.
The Nutrimetics SolutionThe Nutrimetics Sundays range of sun care products has been developed to meet the demands of today’s increasingly conscientious sun worshippers. Highly researched formulations offer a variety of water resistant products. All the products meet the requirements of AUSTRALIAN STANDARDS, which are among the highest in the world stipulating that the product must absorb 90% of the suns UVA radiation. We use naturally enriched ingredients, including our wonderful Apricot Kernel Oil, which together have powerful Anti-oxidants and Anti-Ageing properties. Furthermore they are a delight to use being quickly absorbed into the skin with no greasy after feel. For the month of May we have our highly recommended Sundays SPF 15 and SPF 30 products on special offer, together with our Sundays After-Sun Moisturiser….
