OTHER JOB OPPORTUNITIES
Chiltern Open Air Museum
Chiltern Open Air Museum is an independent charity that is home to more than 30 historic buildings which have been rescued and re-erected within 45 acres of beautiful countryside. It is located in Buckinghamshire, close to the town of Amersham and the village of Chalfont-St-Giles. We run educational activities for school groups and have a packed programme of weekend events including Medieval Jousting, Chiltern Warrior obstacle run and a Classic Car Show. Visitors can also enjoy our woodland walk, picnic areas, playground, animals, cafe and shop.
The Museum relies on a small, but dedicated community of volunteers. Volunteers are involved with all aspects of the Museum's work including areas such as the Ticket Office and Shop, Visitor Information Centre, Young Volunteers Club, Education, Events, Conservation, Catering, Buildings, Site and Farm and Historic Building Stewarding.
If you want to stay active after retirement, use existing or develop new skills, meet like-minded individuals or simply have fun in a beautiful rural setting then we need you. To find out more about the Museum visit the website on www.coam.org.uk or to register your interest to volunteer, contact the Visitor Services Assistant on email@example.com.
