Dear laterlife.com,
Over the
last 14 years, Help the Aged Golden Charter Golf Championship 2003 has become one of the largest
charity golf events in the UK, raising hundreds of thousands of pounds for the charity. Now Help the Aged is appealing to visitors
to laterlife in the hope of making the Golf Golden Charter Golf Championship 2003 bigger and better than ever
before.
Entry
couldn't be simpler captains and secretaries choose which club medal from their
2003 tournament calendar they would like to nominate to participate in the Help the Aged
Golden Charter Golf Championship. The tournament comprises of separate events for Men and
Ladies; hence separate medals can be nominated.
Winners from the nominated club medals have a chance to qualify to play in
a regional final at one of the finest courses in the country. The top two Ladies and the
top two Men from each of the regional finals will contest the Grand Final on Thursday 23rd
October 2003, at The Belfry, now forever engraved in Ryder Cup history. Who knows, grand
finalists could even find themselves reenacting Paul McGinleys heroic match winning
putt at the famous Brabazon 18th hole!
Registering is simple. You can enter your club by obtaining an entry pack
from Help the Aged. Telephone on 020 7924
1227, or check in National Club Golfer
magazine or see the website www.helptheaged.org.uk.
The closing date for club medal days is 30th July 2003.
I do hope laterlife visitors will support the Help the Aged Golf
Championship 2003 and nominate their local club it really will make a difference.
Thank you in anticipation of your readers support.
Yours sincerely,
Sam
