23rd & 24th July
CinemaLive is delighted to announce they will broadcast one of André Rieu’s annual concerts from his hometown of Maastricht to UK cinemas direct via satellite on 23rd & 24th July.
The renowned Dutch violinist and conductor is currently the most successful male touring artist in the world, beating Bruce Springsteen and Coldplay to the top spot! Each year he performs a series of concerts in Maastricht with thousands of fans flying from all over the world to witness the incredible music event set amongst the dramatic backdrop of his beautiful hometown.
As always, André will conduct his famous Johann Strauss Orchestra and also performing this year will be the Harlem Gospel Choir, the Soweto Gospel Choir and Russian musicians, The St Petersburg Trio. Sir Anthony Hopkins will be a special guest at the concerts and has composed a Waltz titled, ‘And The Waltz Will Go On’ which will be performed.
Known for his energetic and festive live performances, André Rieu is affectionately known as the ‘King Of Waltz’ to his international audiences, with album sales of more than 30 million.
His latest DVD, out now, is the state-side spectacular ‘New York Memories’ live at Radio City Music Hall DVD and we have three copies to give away.

entrants must be aged over 18. Only 1 entry is allowed per person/email address. Entries
must be received by midnight on the 8th August 2011. The winner will be
drawn at random from all correct entries received by laterlife.com during the term of the
