Tourism Flanders in association with Eurostar are offering one lucky winner , a pair of tickets to visit Bruges on Saturday 9th September 2006 and obtain an exclusive invitation to a concert by the Band of the Grenadier Guards and Royal Band of the Guides Regiment to be held at the Bruges city Concert hall . The winners will stay overnight in a premier hotel and return to London with Eurostar the following day.

Bruges and the Grenadier Guards

Often referred to as “the Beautiful” or the “Venice of the North”, the exquisite World Heritage city of Bruges is an impressive, picturesque city centred on the beautifully cobbled Burg or town square. In keeping with its historical past, its beautiful town hall features a medieval façade, adorned by turrets and statues dating back to 1375. Grenadier Guards

To celebrate the unique link between the ancient city of Bruges and The Grenadier Guards, the Regiment is being entertained by the city, and by the Government of Flanders, to a series of celebrations on the 8-9th September 2006. Regimental parades, military processions and concerts will mark the 350th anniversary of a long and steadfast friendship between city of Bruges and the Grenadier Guards.

Wave goodbye to summer madness and herald in mellow autumn days with a trip to Belgium on Eurostar. Terms and Conditions:

1. By making a competition entry here, the reader will be deemed to have read and understood these terms and conditions and to be bound by them.

2. Entries will only be accepted from those aged 18 and over.

3. The winner will be chosen at random on 30th August

4. This competition is valid for travel on 9 September 2006 and to 10 Sept 2006, subject to availability.

5. A maximum of 1 competition entry per person is allowed.

6. Competition is not open to employees or associates of Flanders Tourism, Eurostar or the City Bruges and Grenadier Guards

7. All entries and travel must originate in London.

8. All tickets in connection with the competition are non-exchangeable and may not be transferred to third parties. In the event of cancellation by winners, for whatever reason, no alternative need be given. Once the booking is confirmed reservations may not be changed. All other expenses associated with taking the trip shall be the responsibility of the winner.

9. Neither Eurostar or Tourism Flanders-Brussels will be liable for passengers failing to make the departure times indicated on their tickets.

10. Passengers must ensure they comply in full with all relevant customs and immigration requirements, including the appropriate passport and visa requirements. Passengers are strongly advised to take out adequate travel insurance.

11. Neither Tourism Flanders-Brussels or Eurostar will be liable for any failure to fulfil this offer where such failure is caused by any supervening circumstances amounting to force majeure. Such circumstances shall include, but shall not be limited to severe weather conditions, fire, flood, war, earthquake, riots, industrial dispute, acts of God, supervening legislation or events which, without the fault of either party, render performance impossible or incapable of satisfactory execution.

12. The prize includes 1 overnight stays in Bruges based on 2 people sharing a room, return rail travel from London Waterloo to Bruges via Brussels , and a private invitation to the concert on the 9th September 2006.

The draw is open to UK residents only and entrants must be aged over 18. Only 1 entry is allowed per person/email address. Entries must be received by the 29th August 2006. The winner will be drawn at random from all correct entries received by laterlife.com during the term of the competition. No correspondence will be entered into. laterlife.com accepts no responsibility for any entries that are late, incomplete, unintelligible, misdirected, lost due to disconnection, telephone systems or computer equipment or software failure or data loss. The winners will be notified personally by email, to the email address provided in the entry, within one week from the closing date.  No cash alternative is available and the prize is not transferable. Winners names may be published on the website. Submission of an entry will be taken as acceptance of the rules. Please note the competition is not open to laterlife.com employees, contributors, their families or anyone connected with the competition.
