HaramakiLatest Japanese trend keeping Brits warm this winter

Small, family company in Brighton - Nukunuku is bringing a traditional Japanese body warmer called a “haramaki” to the shivering British public.

This simple concept is a cotton fabric band worn around your middle. Wear it invisibly next to your skin, have a layer of colour over your clothes or just peeking out when you sit down or bend over. Revolutionise your warmth and quite possibly your health! Stylish, practical, colourful – a handy gift and winter-wardrobe essential. Made in the UK (fabric too!) in soft cotton with lycra to hug the body and give warmth without bulk. Unisex sizes small to extra large.

Great for:

  • Warmth: Keeping your middle warm raises the temperature of the whole body! (So helps warm your hands and feet too.).

  • Style: Hides muffin tops!
Covers the gap when a top doesn't quite reach your waistband, especially sitting or bending over. Smooth-line, no bulky layers, clings softly to stay in place, adds colour or co-ordinates.

  • Health: May help digestion, blood circulation and backache etc.

HaramakiAfter living in Japan and discovering haramaki I was hooked - I feel not quite dressed without one.” Catherine Brown, Nukunuku.
