 Hilltop
holiday cottage in Brittany, between Brest and Quimper. Owned by Chris and
Ann, this cottage is in a peaceful countryside location, on the edge of the small village
of Quimerch where you will find a small supermarket, a bar, butchers and a church. Close
by is the larger and pretty village of Le Faou which has a full range of shops and a
supermarket.
There are many excellent restaurants in the area which all offer very good value and a
wide range of menus.
If you enjoy walking, the area has many beautiful coastal walks and there are also
opportunities for rambles in the countryside. The beaches are sandy and uncrowded with
safe swimming and sailing and are 10 miles away along country lanes. Quimper is
approximately 20 miles south, an easy drive down the by-pass.
