Job Search and Working in later life

Looking for a new part time or full time job?

Age Positive logo

Whether you are looking for a full time or part time job, wanting to develop your career, wanting to work in retirement, thinking about starting your own business or about starting a franchise, or wanting to do some voluntary work in later life, then we aim to help you.

If you have retired, or are about to, and you want part-time work, look at our Guide to Part-time Jobs and Part-time Work and our Guide to Volunteering. You will find extensive information on finding part-time paid or voluntary work.

Our job search and work section is geared to assist you and all the information and services we highlight here recognise the additional difficulties we can face in later life. The aim is to help redress the balance.

We have now entered a new era with the Age Discrimination Act not only being applied to recruitment but to all aspects of jobs and working.  Is it helping in young or old overcome some of the previous hurdles to finding a job? Let us know your experiences - email discriminationact@laterlife.com

If you are interested in finding a job in later life, then be sure to read Don Wilde's guide to the subject. He gives the benefits of his many years' experience to laterlife visitors.

Skilled People.com is a specialist recruitment agency for people, aged 50 plus, who are looking for full time, part time, contract or voluntary positions with employers who appreciate the benefits which experience can bring to the workplace. We don't charge jobseekers anything for our services, so if you are looking for a "proper" job, need some extra income, or are just plain bored, visit us at www.skilledpeople.com
