sk:n have now teamed up with the British
Skin Foundation to offer a full skin assessment for just £1, 100% of which
is dedicated to the British Skin Foundation to aid their research into skin
cancer. The skin assessment is undertaken by a sk:n expert who uses a UV
skin scanner to evaluate any damage caused by factors such as sun damage,
dehydration, smoking, etc. They then use this to recommend a skin regime of
treatments and products that is tailored exactly to your needs.
In addition to this service and in response to recent reports showing the
drastic rise in skin cancers in the UK, sk:n are also soon to introduce the
mole checking system, Mole Mate. This is a state of the art procedure that
allows moles to be checked for the likelihood of cancer. Suitable steps are
then recommended if the mole needs to be removed. |
