Discovering Sotogrande

As a long-serving “later lifer”, I am well-versed in
understanding many of the things which help us to find joy and
satisfaction in retirement. |
Seven
years ago we came to live in the most beautiful area of Spain known
as Sotogrande - about fifteen minutes from Gibraltar airport.
To my mind,there are few places to equal Sotogrande. Thirty years of
careful planning have set the area apart: the way of life here has given rise to a community which boasts a
private school, medical centre, banks, a wide range of shops,
restaurants, bars, cafés and magnificent golf facilities, world class
international polo to watch, sailing, tennis, walking and sunshine for
over 300 days a year. Above all, peace and tranquility. |

Furthermore, the lay-out of Sotogrande is superb: here, strict planning
regulations prevent over-expansion, guaranteeing the preservation of
open spaces. This is a special place to relax and enjoy nature, with
lovely gardens and views found around every corner in this Mediterranean
paradise in southern Spain.
Having enjoyed this for a long time, we are using our experience to
develop “Homesearch International”
working for UK citizens who intend to live in Spain and who need
assistance to find that perfect home.
