Barry says " As a baby boomer, I remember the austerity of the fifties and the "make do and mend" mindset that we all had to have. Five decades on after buying my first motorcycle, a Francis Barnett Plover for three quid and, after a reasonably successful career in construction, I am in a slightly better situation in that I have all the time that I need to indulge my passion for all things motorised.
