Nature of the workshop

The Laterlife 'Starting a Business' workshop aims to improve the chances of success of anyone over 50 who is considering starting their own business.

We do this by leading you through thinking about all aspects of starting a business and provide advice and guidance based on actual experience.

We cover the mechanics of starting a business but the focus is on the elements that make a real difference such as ‘whether you or your partners have the necessary skills and attributes to successfully run a business’, ‘identifying the opportunities and risks’, and the key elements of your business plan.

It’s a very interactive approach which really gets you thinking about your proposed business and assessing what you need to do before going ahead.
