Cruise HolidaysTop TipsIf you are new to cruising, and don’t know which cruise line, or even which destination may be right for you, it’s important that you make the right choice. First, consider which size cruise may be right for you. Maybe you’ll appreciate a bigger American-style cruise, offering a host of on-board activities, or a more intimate ship may suit you, with mainly British passengers.
The following may also influence your decision – would you like a liner popular with the over 50s? Does dressing up each night appeal to you, or would you rather a more relaxed environment? It’s also important to consider your dining options – some cruises offer fixed meal times – a good way to meet fellow passengers, while others offer a more relaxed, flexible approach to dining. It is important that you feel comfortable in your cabin, and
choose the option that works best for you. Outside cabins and
balcony staterooms provide more luxury, but the costs can rise
considerably compared to an inside room, with a view on the
lower deck. Cruising costs in general can vary greatly – from a
2-night cruise for under £200, to a more luxurious 14 night
cruise starting at over £1,000 per person. To find out more about cruises, click on one of the links below or visit The Telegraph Cruise Channel for a wide range of guides, expert reviews and offers.
