Travel and Holidays on Laterlife is edited by husband and wife writing team, Hugh Taylor and Moira McCrossan. Hugh is an award winning travel writer, broadcaster and photographer. Moira spent forty years as a teacher and head teacher in Scottish primary schools. She also wrote extensively about education and travel.
They are joint authors or contributing authors to over forty travel and outdoors guidebooks including the best selling AA guidebooks Spiral Scotland and Essential Scotland and guides to Lebanon and Jordan for New Holland Publishing’s Globetrotter series.
They have also written travel features for a wide variety of newspapers from The Times to The Glencairn Gazette and magazines including Woman’s Realm, Choice, The Lady, Real Holidays, Heritage and Interval World.
They have been writing for this market since their early forties. Now they are part of the market they spend a large part of each year exploring the best of what is available and reporting on it for Laterlife.
