Visit Wales!

An inspired choice

March 2014

To be inspired is to be taken to a different place...Your senses are heightened, your horizons broadened. That's what happens when you visit Wales; an inspirational destination on the western shores of Britain.

You'll know that you're somewhere different.

For such a small country, Wales makes a big impression. It's home to some of Britain's most dramatic mountains and three of its four sides are fringed with spectacular seashores. From north to south there's an abiding quality to Wales' green, fresh landscapes you'll not find elsewhere, and to cap it all, there are no less than three National Parks and five "Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty".

The country's distinctive personality springs from a rich heritage and history.

The Welsh language is still spoken, along with English; countless hundreds of castles and Celtic sites dot its hills and valleys; it's a place where myths and legends, tales of King Arthur and the medieval Welsh princes, ar still charged with the power to captivate and inspire.

You'll find the company inspirational too, for the people of Wales are another of its great assets. There's a genuine warmth and friendliness here, expressed in the traditional welcoming greeting of croeso.

And here's another inspiring thought - this intriguing, unhurried part of Britain is easily and quickly accessbile from London and other parts of the UK.
